At a time when many parents are concerned that their kids spend far too much time indoors, fishing is a good way to motivate them to get off the couch. Fishing differs from many other forms of outdoor recreation because it not only gives kids a lasting way to connect to nature, it improves family communication in ways few activities can. It has also been an excellent source for creating new Worm Buyers.

This year the BAITMAN AWARD goes to ANNA SPIROKA, 9 years old from Rochester Hills, Michigan - The Great Lakes State.
Anna got her great catch on a "Barbie Fishing Pole" and did not even need a Fishing License to enter the Baitman competition.Prizes Awarded:
